Winning Solutions, Inc. - Quoting Process
Get a Clear Quote Before Your Excel or Database Project Starts
Winning Solutions, Inc. (WSI) has quoted and delivered thousands of custom applications, spreadsheet systems, database tools, web applications, and reporting solutions. Our quoting process is designed to help you understand scope, cost, timing, and next steps before you commit to a project.
- 1. DiscoveryWe discuss your goals, current files, users, deadlines, reporting needs, and the business problem the solution needs to solve.
- 2. ReviewWhen helpful, WSI reviews sample workbooks, databases, screen shots, reports, or process notes so the quote reflects the real work.
- 3. QuoteWe prepare a no-cost quote with a bottom-line project price, or an hourly estimate when that engagement model is a better fit.
- 4. DeliveryAfter approval, a senior project manager coordinates development, communication, review, and follow-up support.
What We Look For
A useful quote is more than a price. WSI tries to understand where the current process is slow, where mistakes happen, what users need to see, what data must be protected, and which reports or outputs matter most. That lets us recommend a practical solution instead of overbuilding or under-scoping the work.
No-cost quotingMost quotes are prepared at no charge. If unusual research would require cost, we discuss that with you before doing the work.
Fixed or hourly optionsMany projects are quoted as fixed-price work, while support, cleanup, or evolving requirements may fit an hourly model.
Remote-friendly processWSI routinely works with clients outside Iowa and Florida using phone, email, screen sharing, and secure file review.
Common Quoting Questions
Will we be charged if we decide not to move forward?
Standard WSI quotes are prepared without cost. If a project requires unusual discovery or paid research before a reliable quote can be prepared, we will explain that first and wait for your approval.
Can you quote complex Excel or database projects?
Yes. Complex work is often where a structured quote is most helpful. We may ask for sample files, screen shots, current reports, workflow notes, or a short meeting so the estimate reflects the real requirements.
Can WSI work with us remotely?
Yes. WSI has delivered many projects without an in-person meeting. For most Excel, Access, SQL, reporting, and automation projects, remote discovery and development work very well.
Ready to discuss a project?
